Discover

The Marlborough Museum.

Explore the history of the town and surrounding villages through objects, images and local stories.

A wider local story

From the 18th century to living memory.

The museum’s collection complements the 17th-century house by following Marlborough and its villages into later centuries.

Displays draw on local artefacts, photographs, maps, books and research material, including a small collection of Pelham Puppets. Together they reveal changing work, shopping, schools, domestic life, celebration and community identity.
